'''Town and City''' is a stage in the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series based on the [[town]] and [[city]] from {{CF}}. The stage's layout nearly resembles that of [[Smashville]], another ''Animal Crossing''-themed ''Super Smash Bros.'' stage. [[Isabelle]] has to be fought on this stage when unlocking her outside of [[smashwiki:Adventure Mode: World of Light|World of Light]] in {{SSBU|short|nolink}}.

Town and City is one of the few legal stages for competitive play in {{SSBB}}, {{SSB4}}, and {{SSBU}}.

==Layout==
Town and City is set hovering over an ''Animal Crossing'' town, but it will travel between the town and the [[city]]. When in the town, the stage has three small platforms, and in the city, the stage has two platforms. The time of day will change depending on the system's clock, meaning that depending on the time of day, players may fight the stage in the morning, noon, evening, or at night. Balloons will appear occasionally to drop foods or items.

Several ''Animal Crossing'' [[Special Characters|characters]] are spectators and will appear to watch the battle. The selection of spectators will change depending on where the stage is. Characters like [[Brewster]], [[Pelly]], and [[Mabel]] will only appear in the town, while characters like [[Gracie]] and [[Dr. Shrunk]] will only appear in the city. [[K.K. Slider]] will also appear to perform songs on Saturday nights at 8:00 PM, but he will only be seen in the town section of Town and City.

Town and City's [[smashwiki:Ω form|Ω form]] removes the moving platforms, balloons, and background characters, while its Ω form in {{SSBU|short|nolink}} resizes the main platform to resemble [[smashwiki:Final Destination (SSBU)|Final Destination]]. Town and City's [[smashwiki:Battlefield form|Battlefield form]] features three soft platforms that resemble the moving platform. Regardless of what form the stage is fought on, Town and City will still move around between its town and city portions. If hazards are off in {{SSBU|short|nolink}}, then balloons will not appear and the moving platform will only move if moving between the town and city sections.
