Starcrossed Day, also known as Tanabata, is an event in the Animal Crossing series that occurs on July 7. It appears in Doubutsu no Mori+ and in Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Appearances

In Doubutsu no Mori+ and Doubutsu no Mori e+

Tortimer speaking to the player on Tanabata in Doubutsu no Mori+

In Doubutsu no Mori+, Tortimer appears near the shrine on Tanabata and will give the player a tanabata palm if spoken to. In Animal Crossing, this item is instead obtained from Crazy Redd's.

While the event itself does not appear in Doubutsu no Mori e+, Mom sends the player a letter mentioning the event on July 7.

In City Folk

In Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: City Folk, Tortimer once again appears to give bamboo grass to the player.

In New Leaf

In Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Isabelle appears in the plaza on Starcrossed Day and will give the player bamboo grass if spoken to.

In New Horizons
