Town and City[nb 1] is a stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is based on a town and city from Animal Crossing: City Folk, and it is very similar to Smashville, another Animal Crossing-themed Super Smash Bros. stage introduced in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Isabelle is fought on this stage for her unlocking battle.
Stage overview
It is set hovering over an Animal Crossing town, but it will travel between the town and the city. When in the town, the stage has three small platforms, and in the city, the stage has two platforms. The time of day will change depending on the Wii U system's clock, with a blue sky during the day, an orange sky in the evening, and a dark, starry sky at night.
As on the Smashville stage, several spectators will appear to watch the battle. The selection of spectators will change depending on where the stage is. Characters like Brewster, Pelly, and Mabel will only appear in the town, while characters like Gracie and Dr. Shrunk will only appear in the city. K.K. Slider will also appear to perform songs on Saturday nights at 8:00 PM.
Trophy
Description | Get a bird's-eye view of the town and city from Animal Crossing: City Folk as you fight on a platform overhead. Your Wii U console's clock dictates the time of day and which animals and places appear. Don't get too distracted by all that, though, because the platform itself is pretty simple-perfect for a battle of skill! | |
