Starcrossed Day, also known as Tanabata, is an event in the Animal Crossing series that occurs on July 7. It appears in the Japanese version of Animal Crossing and in Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Appearances

In Doubutsu no Mori+

In the Japanese version of Animal Crossing, Tortimer appears in near the shrine on Tanabata and will give the player a Tanabata Palm if spoken to. In international versions, this item is instead obtained from Crazy Redd's.

In New Leaf

In Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Isabelle appears in the plaza on Starcrossed Day and will give the player Bamboo Grass if spoken to.

In New Horizons

Although the event does not occur in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, throughout the month of July [[Item:Bamboo Grass ({{{2}}})|Bamboo Grass]] can be purchased from the Nook Shopping service. Unlike New Leaf, this item is available worldwide.
