"Official" status

Why is this on Bob's gallery? As far as I'm aware, this is supposed to be a fan-modded animation and not something official from Nintendo, correct? TurtleCrossing (talk) 10:18, August 17, 2020 (EDT)

You're right, Nookipedia shouldn't be a repository for fan-made media relating to the franchise. That said, as a documentation tool, we have used in-game models to generate our own renderings in order to isolate different aspects of the game. My thoughts are to remove the file from the wiki (unless someone wants to claim it as a personal image), but I'd like to hear input from other users, as this decision could have broader implications on the type of model rendering that is or isn't suitable for use on Nookipedia. Yes to removing this file of course, no broader implication intended. IMO generated models are fine when used in an educational capacity and in lieu of lower quality options (which is not the case with dancing Bob). ~SuperHamster Talk 16:30, August 17, 2020 (EDT)
