The milk case (ぎゅうにゅうケース gyuunyuu kēsu?) is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It is part of the Publicbath Theme. It is replaced by the electronic scoreboard in Dòngwù Sēnlín.

The milk case can be obtained from Tom Nook's store for  1,900 Bells.[nb 2] It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui. This item is lucky, meaning it gives a 777-point Happy Room Academy bonus when placed in the player's house.

In Doubutsu no Mori, this item appears in the homes of Freckles.

In Doubutsu no Mori+, this item appears in the homes of Freckles and Punchy.

For villagers who have this item placed on the floor in their house, there is a chance that the villager will gift it to the player.

Version differences

Leftover dummy item

The dummy model used by unused items in Animal Crossing.

In Animal Crossing, the milk case is still leftover in the game data as a dummy item, unobtainable without gameplay modification or glitches. It has the unused name "milk fridge" and uses the dummy model, a white triangle with red Japanese text reading ダミー (damī, dummy). Its name was also translated to other languages in the European version of Animal Crossing, with the name "nevera de leche" in Spanish, "frigolait" in French, "Milchkühler" in German, and "frigo latte" in Italian.
