May Day is an event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons held from May 1st to May 7th. During the event, the player need to speak to Tom Nook in the Resident Services. He will explain what May Day celebrates and will inform the player about a special May Day Tour, similar to a Mystery Island Tour. The special ticket is then left at the Airport.
The player arrives to an island with maze made of hedges with empty pockets. They will need to pick tools, fruits and materials in order to get to the goal where Rover is resting. When the goal is reached, Rover will congratulate the player and will give them Rover's Briefcase. There are also Bell vouchers located in the southwest and southeast corner of the island. The player might not be able to reach them during their first try - using the ! Rescue service will reset the island for the usual price of 100 Nook Miles.
Items collected on this tour can not be brought back home with the exeption of the prize and Bell vouchers. Those will be mailed by Dodo Airlines immediately.
